Adam Mrowiec-Barnhart is an emerging contemporary artist based in Chicago.
Adam’s visual art career is directed by his experience as a gay, transgender man and includes paintings, mixed media, clothes-making and embroidery. He is a 2020 graduate from the American Academy of Art, receiving a bachelor’s of fine arts with a specialization in watercolor painting. Adam aims to diffuse the level of intimidation regarding leather culture whilst providing a safe lens to look at subversive artwork by means of childhood nostalgia.
